Soar by Mr. Vapor needed to stand out in a market flooded with disposable vapes by presenting itself as a premium product with a bold Americana aesthetic. The challenge was to convey authenticity, freedom, and independence while appealing to Millennials and Gen Z seeking adventure and modern refinement.

Industry Insight: Michigan, Arizona, and Colorado’s cannabis markets are growing rapidly, with Michigan surpassing $3.29 billion in sales in 2024. Despite low-cost market dominance, premium brands have the opportunity to offer authenticity and adventure.

Market Opportunity: Soar by Mr. Vapor aimed to redefine the premium vape market by combining classic Americana with modern design, disrupting the saturated market with a distinctive edge.

It celebrates adventure, freedom, and independence with a nod to classic Americana, while also communicating the premium quality of the product to an audience that values authenticity and craftsmanship.

A Rugged, Americana-Inspired Packaging Design

Herban Haus crafted a premium design for Soar by Mr. Vapor that merges classic Americana with modern refinement. The packaging evokes the rugged American spirit, inspired by the Wild West and vintage spirit labels, reflecting the brand’s adventurous personality and commitment to quality.

Visual Identity:

  • Cowboy Skull & Etching Illustration: A central cowboy skull illustration represents boldness and independence, while the etching-style adds depth, nostalgia, and a tactile, vintage feel that speaks to authenticity and craftsmanship.
  • Color Palette: Earthy, unsaturated tones of blues, reds, mustards, soft blacks, and beiges evoke ruggedness and luxury. Kraft paper reinforces the connection to craftsmanship and American-made pride.

Brand Messaging:

  • Tone: Bold, confident, and unapologetic, speaking to those who value independence and adventure.
